Pure maple syrup is a more nutritious option than many other sweeteners. Because it is unrefined, it retains the nutrients found in maple tree sap. To use Tree Juice Maple Syrup™ in baking, replace 1 cup of sugar with 3/4 cup of maple syrup and reduce the other liquids by 3 tablespoons for every cup of maple syrup used. This replacement may cause your baked goods to darken from the brown color of the syrup. Also, maple syrup is not as sweet as white sugar so your final result may taste slightly less sweet than when using traditional, processed sugar....

Our 2017 Holiday Syrup Flavor Was a Hit

This past holiday season we launched a brand new Tree Juice Maple Syrup variety: Candy Cane! Using peppermint grown organically on our farm, pure Tree Juice Maple Syrup was infused with the fresh leaves, leaving a refreshing hint of mint. Offered in both 2 oz. and 12 oz. bottles, Candy Cane was very popular at festivals and holiday craft shows. This syrup is lovely on pancakes, in hot chocolate and in holiday mixed drinks. It was so popular we may have to bring it back next year… stay tuned!

We’re All Tapped!

We’re all ready for the sap to flow for the 2018 season! After fixing lines chewed by squirrels or downed by fallen trees, and hiking up miles in the sugar bush, we are finally all tapped! Many thanks to our helpers Greg, Adam, Keith, and Elijah. Now we just wait for the warm days and freezing nights that allow the sap to flow. Let the season begin!
